Dana D BIO

Dana has established himself as one of Vancouver's most versatile and entertaining DJ's. D is well known in Van City for his eclectic sets consisting of downbeat, mash up, hip hop, drum & bass, midtempo breaks and deep house plus whatever else captures his musical imagination. His abstract style has allowed him to open for many different acts such as Mr. Scruff, Kid Koala, P-Love, The Herbaliser, and Ali B. Dana D has been nominated as Vancouver's best club DJ in local arts weekly, The Georgia Straight. Recent highlights include working alongside local Hip Hop artist Moka Only and Alpha Ming. While keeping vinyl junkies happy at his day time gig managing BeatStreet Records, Dana also finds time to work with his own group, Lingo Cryptic.
